New features: Bot Creator!
We told you that the first 30 days of the marketplace would bring you some surprises, right? Since this announcement we have indeed listed a dozen algorithms, whether long-only with our creator LAIKA or long-short with MoonRocket.
Today we have a new surprise for you guys! It's all very well to choose between all the bots available on the marketplace, there are quite a few, it's true! But if you feel like a developer, if you have already touched Python or Pinescript, it is now possible for you to use the Upbots platform to connect your own bots.
How does it work?
It works exactly the same way as for a classic bot, you will first need to be connected to a centralized exchange through an API. Then, in the left menu, you will find a "Bot Creator" tab, this will take you to a page where you can choose your exchange, the trading pair, if your strategy is long or short and the % of capital you want to use for each position.
That's it? Well, almost! Once your bot is created, all you have to do is link your algorithm to our platform. To do this, once you click on create, you will have access to the payload and the necessary webhook and you will be able to enter it either on TradingView or on a more customized solution such as a Python script.
And all this for free?
Well, yes and no! For a limited time this feature will be available to everyone for free but then it will become chargeable, which makes sense since no performance fees are deducted for using a personal bot.
Why offer this service?
More than a simple algorithm rental platform, Upbots wants to be an ecosystem, an all-in-one solution for the trader whether he is a beginner or more experienced. That's why the possibility to connect your own algorithms is of utmost importance. If your algorithm is performing well and you want to make a passive income from it, don't hesitate to offer it for rent!
What's next?
As you can imagine, we are not going to stop here, with this beta version. For now, the Bot Creator allows you to create a strategy on the platform but the only parameters available are the trading pair, your exchange of course and the percentage of capital used.
In the future we will implement more customization possibilities such as stop-loss or take profit, splitting entries and that kind of good stuff, but everything at once right?
